Happy New Year! I’m back from my little vacation. So much has happened in the last couple weeks, my DCP ended, I came home to Washington State and I am starting college again in a few days. So there is definitely a lot to cover in the next couple weeks. I wanted to start with my New Years resolutions!
1.) Fitness and Health
I want to really focus on my fitness in 2018. I think I go through phases where I’m in great shape but then I fall of the wagon. So I guess my focus is consistency. In terms of health, I have a severe allergy to something and I have never been able to figure out what it is, so I am committed in 2018 to cutting out foods until something clicks. I am going to start with anything processed and move forward from there (dairy and gluten maybe?)
2.) Utilizing my Time
I am a busy girl. Last year I did a lot of stuff I was proud of but I would’ve done even more if I would have really focused on how I was spending my time. I don’t know exactly how I’m going to execute this one but I am going to give it my all.
3.) Discovering DC
I do a lot of activities in DC. I go to new restaurants and I travel around a lot but I am going to focus on doing EVEN MORE in 2018. I am planning on buying a guide-book and just starting at the beginning. I just think there is SO much I haven’t seen and I don’t want to waste a moment.
4.) Ball out 30 percent more
This one is kind of joke but also I am pretty serious. After I went to Disney I realized I was not having NEARLY enough fun in DC. Now my idea of a good time is not going out. I hate clubs, I don’t drink and really don’t enjoy loud places. So I think I just need to find fun stuff I can do with my friends in DC that aren’t bars or clubs, because if I don’t I just end up sitting at home watching Mamma Mia and that is no way to live.
